Calcium Silicate (CaSiO3) Powder for Orthopedic
CaSiOP-06
Background
Calcium silicate ceramic materials possess a range of important functions, particularly in biomedical and dental applications. Their main functions include: stimulating osteoblasts and odontoblasts, promoting bone formation and dentin regeneration. In dental and orthopedic repair, calcium silicate can reduce inflammatory responses and the risk of infection. After setting, it exhibits good compressive strength and sealing properties. The Ca ions and silicate ions are continuously released, promoting cell proliferation, differentiation, and mineralization. Due to these functions, calcium silicate ceramic materials are widely used in bone repair, pulp capping, root canal sealing, and regenerative medicine.
